Each new game gives you more and more challenges, where each dungeon will look different than the last one. Try to pay attention and die as little as possible to develop your skills and abilities.

A cool thing about this project is that here every death is the last one, or to be more precise, every time your hero will be reborn anew. Your goal is to go underground to find a marble and then return it to the surface. The entire world in which you have to get, is based entirely in the style of large pixels. Then again I don't regret DoD either, I just can't be bothered to play it.Delver is a game project developed in the style of RPG, where all levels have the ability to randomly generate, which will make your pastime more exciting. I imagine it will get worked out though, this is certainly a good start and I don't regret the purchase at all. Of course, this one is on the complete opposite side and I imagine I may only have 1 or 2 other playthroughs in me before it's boring by it being too easy since it's not a matter of how far will I get, it's a matter of how long will it take me to get through it again. Tales of Maj'Eyal did back when it was free, NetHack was cool, Paranautical Activity is fun, Rogue Legacy is fun and I find Eldritch to be pretty interesting as well. DoD unfortunately just didn't do it for some reason. I like the difficulty but the game needs to engage me enough to stick through the constant restarts that are inevitable. There seems to be a balance that only certain rogues reach. At least with Spelunky you know those things are coming at some point, DoD you can just die randomly, like most rogues I guess but dying randomly to the point where it's no longer random and not being able to play how you want to makes the game boring.

It can be fun, but there's certain points where you get tired of dying to the same feature that you don't enjoy. I like the game but little things like the stupid ghost (lame level timer) and the giant spiders were always getting me killed some how. I did end up getting bored of it and never finished a run. I'd HAVE to play some sort of beefier melee character to get any progress really and still ended up dying eventually. I would try to play synergystically but I'd still constantly die, especially on magically based characters. I don't really have that inclination in any game I play.
